Come on a sustainable holiday in Slettestrand

At Feriecenter Slettestrand we want to do everything we can to take care of people, the environment and our beautiful nature. We call it "holiday with care".

We work strategically on sustainability and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with the aim of continuously minimising our impact on the environment and creating better conditions for the people we work with.

On these pages, you can read more about our sustainability efforts and get tips on how to have a more sustainable holiday yourself.

Our sustainability focus areas


 

In collaboration with Worldperfect, we have developed a sustainability strategy during the winter 2020-2021. In it we have defined where we as a Feriecenter want to go, in terms of how we see a modern and inclusive Feriecenter.

 

Going forward, we will work systematically with sustainability to a much greater extent, focusing on the following business areas:

  • Waste resources

  • Food and drink

  • Purchasing and consumption

  • Energy

  • Social sustainability

  • Transport

  • Water and sanitation

  • Nature


It is our wish that our work on sustainability can inspire our guests, partners and not least our colleagues in the tourism industry. That is why we are making our sustainability strategy freely available to everyone, in the hope that it will raise awareness, show the possibilities and inspire others to action.
