Laden (The Barn) is a large, two-floor holiday apartment, perfect for groups who want a place to gather, hang out and enjoy meals together. The apartment is specially designed for mountain bike clubs taking a trip together, and features all the necessary facilities to turn your stay in Slettestrand into a legendary mountain bike holiday – including our cool MTB skills course right outside! That being said, everyone is welcome to book Laden if it suits their needs – bike clubs, a large group of friends, families or co-workers.
Laden is part of our farm-complex "Den Gamle Smedje" (The Old Smithy), located in stunning, natural surroundings, approximately 1.5km from Slettestrand and 200m from the village of Hjortdal. The apartment has a large, industrial kitchen with long dining tables seating approx. 40 people. There are two bathrooms/changing rooms, a drying room for damp sports clothes, indoor bike wash and work stations for bike repairs. A wide, open staircase leads up to the first floor, where you will find a cosy living room with sofas, TV and a play corner on the landing and two bedrooms sleeping 10 people in total. There is also space on the first floor for up to 10 extra guests on mattresses.
Outside is an additional bike wash, a large, communal "wild" garden environment and our MTB skills course.
The apartment is approximately 324 m2 in total.
