We always do our best to meet our guests’ expectations – including when it comes to special diets, such as food allergies and other dietary needs.
Below you can see which special diets we can cater for in Restaurant Slettestrand. Other requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that all food is prepared in the same kitchen and bakery, so traces of ingredients such as gluten, lactose, nuts, etc. may still be present in the dishes.
* We cannot guarantee that gluten-free bread and cakes are homemade, but we do our best!
** These dishes will be prepared as a supplement to the other dishes on our buffet.
Guests requiring special items such as lactose-free Becel spread etc. are kindly asked to bring their own.
By pre-order, we can provide halal-slaughtered chicken from Rokkedahl Kylling, or vegetarian and fish dishes as an alternative.
Bringing your own special foods
Guests are welcome to bring their own special food items into the restaurant. All our holiday homes are equipped with fridges where these items can be stored during your stay.
If you have any questions about our dishes or their ingredients, you are always very welcome to speak with our kitchen staff.
Our kitchen is based on good, seasonal ingredients from exciting and enthusiastic producers. We choose the ingredients for their quality and taste, but ethics also play a big role. Animal welfare and resource consumption are key words, along with ecology and mindfulness.
We update the menu each week, making the most of whatever’s in season right now.
