On this page you can find a range of practical information that is worth knowing when you are a guest with us – whether you are coming for one day or more, for private or business purposes.

Du har fri adgang til feriecenterets faciliteter hele dagen på både ankomst- og afrejsedagen. Du er derfor meget velkommen til at ankomme i Slettestrand før tjek-ind åbner, samt blive hængende efter du har tjekket ud fra ferieboligen.

Your vacation home

Upon arrival, you will find the following in your accommodation:

  • 1 paper towel
  • 2 rolls of toilet paper
  • 1 dishcloth
  • 1 tea towel
  • 3 tabs for dishwasher
  • Dishwashing detergent

If you need additional tabs for dishwasher, toilet roll, etc. you can buy them at the reception.

Linen

  • Linen packages with bed linen, a small towel and a bath towel can be rented for DKK 90,-/person.
  • Selected stay packages include linen package – check your confirmation if in doubt.

Electricity consumption

  • Prepaid electricity consumption is always included in the price of your holiday apartment or holiday home.

Smoking

  • All apartments and holiday homes are non-smoking.
  • Smoking in the units is subject to an extra cleaning fee of DKK 1.500,-/unit.

Equipment for lending

  • Weekend beds, high chairs and many assistive devices can be borrowed free of charge. Pre-booking is required.

Final cleaning

  • Final cleaning is carried out by the Holiday Center, but does not include dishwashing and tidying up, which guests must do themselves.

Pets

We love dogs and other pets – please bring them to Slettestrand 🙂 However, for the sake of our other guests, we have to take the following precautions when you come to stay with pets:

  • No pets in the accommodation furniture and beds or in the buffet areas of the restaurant.
  • We charge a fee of DKK 300,- per accommodation for extra cleaning.
  • If furniture and/or beds have been occupied by pets, additional fees will be charged for cleaning and replacement of furniture that cannot be cleaned properly.
  • It is important that you inform us when booking if you are bringing pets on your vacation – we have few allergy-friendly apartments where pets are not allowed.

Shopping opportunities

At Feriecenter Slettestrand you can buy snacks, sweets, ice cream, souvenirs etc. at the reception. You can also order breakfast bread from the restaurant.

The closest places for grocery shopping are:

  • Hjortdal Købmand, Hjortdalvej 142, 9690 Fjerritslev (1.9 km from Slettestrand)
  • Dagli`Brugsen i Tranum, Tranhøj 4, 9460 Brovst (8.4 km)
  • In Fjerritslev, about 10 km from Fjerritslev, you’ll find a good selection of supermarkets and a number of exciting specialty shops.

Charging an electric car

På feriecentret er der to Clever ladestander på p-pladsen ved Havbadehuset – du skal selv have kabel med (Type2 stik AC 11-22kW). Opladning afregnes ved Clever:

  • Via din eksisterende Clever abonnementsordning (ladebrik/app)
  • Via andre opladnings abonnementer (ladebrik/app), hvor der kommer et tillæg på din regning.
  • Ved at installere Clevers app, tilknytte et betalingskort og starte ladningen med appen.

Ved Den Gamle Smedje er der et udvendigt 16A kraftstik. Du skal selv have kabel med! Her afregner du din opladning i receptionen til 3,50 dkk/kWh.

Vores elinstallationer er ikke godkendt til mormorladere. Ladning er derfor kun tilladt på de officielle Clever standere.

Forgotten cases

Inquiries regarding lost property should be sent to reception on tel. +45 9821 7044 or mail@slettestrand.dk with a detailed description of the item and where in the holiday center it is expected to be found.

We spend a lot of time finding and returning lost items – time that could otherwise be spent serving our guests and making sure everyone has a great vacation experience. We therefore encourage all guests to do a thorough check of the holiday home before departure – also in the drawers/cupboards, under the furniture and in the sockets!

Procedure for returning forgotten cases

If we find your lost item, we offer the following options for returning it:

  • Order your parcel label yourself from Postnord, GLS or DAO and email it to us at mail@slettestrand.dk. We will pack and ship it: DKK 50,- processing fee.
  • We create a label, pack and send it with GLS or DAO: DKK 150,-* incl. label and processing fee.

* Price applies to shipments within Denmark.

Lost and found items are stored for 30 days, after which they are returned to the lost property office. Unfortunately, we are unable to store lost items for longer periods of time.
