Our mountain bikes

In Slettestrand, you can rent Whyte Trail hardtail mountain bikes for both adults and children.

They are lightweight yet sturdy bikes, that are easy to get going on and fun to ride – even if it’s your first time on the trails.

All the bikes have flat pedals, so you don’t need any special equipment. Running shoes are just fine.

Cool trails, fun challenges and amazing views

We are always happy to help you plan a route, that matches your ability and wishes for the trip. The trails in Svinkløv plantation are clearly marked with way-finding signs, making it easy to get around on your own. With our trail map in your pocket, you can also make use of the gravel paths to circle back to the start of your favourite descent or find a short-cut home, when your legs just can’t keep on going.

Helmets are always required, when you’re riding our mountain bikes.

You can loan one of our SMITH bike helmets for free in connection with your bike rental – or you can use your own helmet, if you have one.

Cycling is NOT allowed on the beach and therefore not allowed on our rental bikes.
At the reception you can buy trail maps, water bottles, snacks, spare parts, bike clothing and more.

We take good care of our bikes

All our rental mountain bikes are in top condition – ready for you to just hop on.

We check the bikes after every rental and carry out ongoing repairs. All bikes receive a thorough service every winter and are replaced when needed – so you can head out with confidence and enjoy the ride.
