This historic blacksmith’s farm has been completely renovated and transformed into five truly unique vacation apartments with a shared “wild” garden area. The property also features a large, recently built, wheelchair-accessible vacation home, as well as our awesome mountain bike technical course. All in all, there’s room for about 50 guests—perfect if you’re planning a club trip or traveling as a larger group.
The vacation rentals at Den Gamle Smedje are located 1.5 km from the Slettestrand Vacation Center, and you’ll have free access to the vacation center’s facilities during your stay—including the beach house, the playground, the fireplace lounge, and the restaurant.

Did you know that Den Gamle Smedje is also known as our MTB Camp? The vacation rentals here are located right next to our mountain bike technical course, making the complex a popular choice among the many mountain bike clubs that visit us in Slettestrand every year. That said, everyone is welcome to book the vacation rentals here.
